Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent technical education
- Prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instruments is of advantage

Primary Responsibilities
- Completes and successfully passes assigned training tasks on assigned products and responsibilities
- Working knowledge of Sciex and OEM products
- Performs high-quality installation, repair and maintenance on mass spec instruments
- Assigned and responsible for customer satisfaction at strategic accounts
- Performs IQ/OQ and other qualification products. Includes on-site customer training
- Performs HPLC installation and maintenance
- Performs preventive maintenance on OEM products
- Demonstrates and completes all administration duties
- Maintains own tool and parts inventory to ensure adequate supply

Job duties
- Pursues an active and efficient acquisitions policy through correspondence, required meetings/trips, telephone, consultations with advisors, etc. Approximately 20%-40% travel as well as strong initiative and independent functioning.
- Prepares and executes publishing contracts in regard to US product.
- Maintains and develops a circle of reviewers and advisors and evaluates their judgments.
- Maintains communication with US and European editorial counterparts about specific immediate questions as well as long term strategy questions. Works with various branches in coordination of the international program.
- Supervises final editorial preparation of manuscripts for production.
- Reviews and discusses new projects and plans with editorial colleagues particularly in overlapping areas.

You have
- a PhD in physics or mathematics

Your role
You will work on the optical design and the simulation of complex optical systems for AR and VR data glasses and actively contribute to the success of tooz technologies. In this role, you will analyze, design and optimize optical systems (e.g. stray light, environmental influences, sensitivity analysis and tolerance budget) in consideration of manufacturing and metrology aspects. You will examine the influences of manufacturing tolerances on the optical performance and develop corresponding optimization suggestions. You will advise and support the development of measurement technology with the simulations that you have created.

Simulation and Machine Learning Research Scientist
You have
- a strong theoretical background with a PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar
- a deep understanding of physical optics and machine learning as well as the ability to quickly grasp and discuss ideas in these areas
- practical state-of-the-art knowledge on neural networks, synthetic data generation, and machine learning based simulation techniques
- excellent programming skills in Python, Matlab, or C++ and you are familiar with toolkits such as OpenGL and Tensorflow
